For the attention of anyone bring a horse to Mendip Plains for either schooling, clinic or competition purposes, please take note of the following:

EHV-1 ACTION REQUIRED
NOTICE for ALL Competition Entries and Hire. Due to the EVH-1 outbreak, from the 29th March - 12th April, an Equine Health Self-Certification Form needs to be filled out for each individual horse and sent back to admin@mendipplainsec.co.uk 24hrs prior to the show, clinic or arena hire, you will not be allowed to compete or use the facilities without submitting a completed form.

Please make sure you put the competition/hire name and date clearly on the form. MB stands for Member Body, for unaffiliated competitions please leave blank.

Polite Reminder with regards to our vaccinations policy:
In light of the current situation please remember we do expect the following:

• All horses visiting Mendip Plains must be up to date with Vaccinations and 6 monthly flu boosters as per BE & BD rules, THIS IS WITH EXCEPTION TO BRITISH SHOWJUMPING COMPETITONS WHERE WE WILL BE RUNNING UNDER THEIR RULES OF 12 MONTHLY, FOR BRITISH SHOWJUMPING COMPETITONS ONLY.
• Please present all horses passports to the secretary's office before unloading.
• Once your passport has been checked you will be given your bridle number.
• Please take care to follow all Bio Security measures and if your horse is looking off colour and out of character please do not bring them to the competition.
